Security
PRIMVS is built on a simple idea: it guides, you decide. It acts only when you say so, and your information stays on your phone.
On your device
- Your information is stored on your iPhone, protected by iOS's app sandbox and your passcode and Face ID / Touch ID.
- Personal data is encrypted at rest with strong, industry-standard encryption.
- Your voice is transcribed on your device, so your audio never leaves it.
At this time there is no PRIMVS server, no PRIMVS account, and no PRIMVS database. If a future enhancement would truly benefit you, we will consider it. Our principle stays the same: to enhance your experience, not to collect or share your information.
When information travels
Anything that must leave your device travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and only what's needed to answer you is sent:
- AI service (Anthropic / Claude) receives your request and the context needed to answer it, under your own API key. Anthropic does not train on API traffic by default.
- Premium voice (ElevenLabs, optional) receives only the sentence to be spoken, with retention turned off.
- Public information sources (weather, markets, news, flights, transit, maps) receive only what's required to answer — such as a location, a ticker, or a flight number — with no identity attached.
What we don't do
- No selling or sharing of your data.
- No advertising, no ad identifiers, no third-party trackers.
- No analytics or usage data leaves your device.
Your keys and controls
Service keys you provide are kept securely in the iOS Keychain and used only to reach the services you've turned on. You can review permissions, export your data, or erase it at any time.
