Privacy Policy
PRIMVS is a personal assistant that runs on your device. This policy explains, in plain language, what information PRIMVS uses, what leaves your device, and the choices you have.
The short version
- PRIMVS has no servers, no accounts, and no database of its own. Your information lives on your device.
- We do not sell or share your data, show ads, or use third-party trackers.
- The only information that leaves your device is what's needed to answer you — and you control it.
Information PRIMVS uses (with your permission)
With permissions you grant, PRIMVS can work with your calendar, reminders, contacts, location, and health information (such as steps, sleep, glucose, and weight), along with anything you enter yourself — notes, trips, people, and finances. This information is kept on your device.
What leaves your device, and to whom
- AI responses (Anthropic / Claude). When you speak or type a request, your request and the context needed to answer it are sent securely to Anthropic's Claude service. You connect with your own API key. Contact phone numbers and email addresses are never sent.
- Spoken voice (optional, ElevenLabs). Only if you add an ElevenLabs key. PRIMVS sends just the sentence to be spoken, with logging disabled so it is not retained.
- Public information. To answer questions about weather, markets, news, flights, and transit, PRIMVS makes anonymous requests to public sources. No name, account, or identifier is attached.
- Apple services. Calls, messages, emails, maps, and calendar or reminder changes are carried out by Apple under your action.
How your information is protected
Your information is encrypted on your device, and speech is transcribed on your device. Anything that must travel over the internet uses encrypted connections. See our Security overview.
Your choices
- Grant or revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings.
- Export or erase your data from within the app.
- The AI and voice services use keys you provide and can remove at any time.
Children
PRIMVS is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
